Since its inception, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation has been making efforts to develop tourism, development and marketing of tourism attractions as an industry in the country. Since its inception, the organization has been given dual responsibility - one is 'development and development of tourism industry' and 'creating and managing facilities for tourists' in another country.
