Janata Model High School in Tahirpur, Sunamganj

The only educational institute located at Dharmapasha Upazila Sadar of Sunamganj district was established in the year 1931 as the MA Madrasa, named as Khodabaks High School and was renamed as Janata High School, Dharmapasha with the year 1972. Lieutenant Alhaj Abdur Razzak Chowdhury founder of the school. The school's own land is 3.13 acres (according to the school record) Physical Infrastructure Two-storied Building- 01, Pucca Building- 01 (Shrimp), Abhadaka- 01 (Shrimp), Science building- 01, Students (Adhapaka) - 03, Library, Computer lab, teacher auditorium, hallroom, playground (separate), mosque and class no. 14.
