KEY KRAFT in Jamuna Future Park, Vatara

Established in **1993** by Khalid Mahmood and Shahnaz Khan, **Kay Kraft** is one of Bangladesh’s premier fashion and lifestyle brands. What began as a passionate, home-based boutique targeting Dhaka’s young demographic has transformed into a major national industry leader, driven by a deep commitment to Bangladeshi heritage and culture.
Kay Kraft specializes in handcrafted and handloom-based apparel, accessories, home textiles, and handicrafts. The brand is renowned for seamlessly blending traditional weaving skills with contemporary style. Its diverse collections showcase local fabrics like cotton, *khadi*, silk, and *endy*, which are intricately ornamented using traditional techniques including:
* Block and screen printing
* *Kantha* and *zardousi* embroidery
* Tie-dyeing, appliqués, and cut-work
Beyond fashion, Kay Kraft serves a vital socio-economic purpose. Operating with an ethical and sustainable production model, the brand partners with thousands of grass-root artisans and small entrepreneurs across the country's major weaving regions. This provides rural communities with consistent employment while preserving age-old craftsmanship.
Today, Kay Kraft caters to fashion-conscious individuals across the globe through its widespread retail outlets in major cities like Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet, as well as a robust e-commerce platform.
