The University of Comilla - Vatara in Vatara, Dhaka

The University of Comilla is one of the best private universities in Bangladesh. It was established in 1995 under the Private University Act 1992  by the Comilla Education Science & Technology Development Trust ( COESTDT)- a charitable, non –profitable, non-commercial, and non-political organization. The COESTDT was re-fumed and re-named as ‘The University of Comilla Trust” (UNICT) . The Trust is also non-political and non-profitable oriented voluntary Organization, organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh under the trust registration Act. XX1 of 1860 and is presently called The University of Comilla Trust (UNICT). The Trust is compressed of a group of prominent patrons of education, notable philanthropists, eminent industrialist, justices, and widely experienced academics and senior civil servants of the country.  In early 1988 they had a dream to set-up a world-class University as a center of higher education in the private sector. “Committed to Excellence in Education “
