SOS Hermann Gmeiner School and College - SOS Hermann Gmeiner College in Kafrul, Dhaka

One of Bangladesh's top primary and secondary education schools is SOS Hermann Gmeiner College, which is situated in Mirpur-13 in the country's capital city of Dhaka. A non-governmental organization with its main office in Innsbruck, Austria, SOS-Kinderdorf International, was founded in 1986. Hussain Muhammad Ershad, a former Bangladeshi president, laid the foundation. The college's academic achievement on the Secondary School Certificate examination in 2010 earned it a spot among the top ten finest colleges in the nation. 

The school, which was founded to teach the children living in the SOS Children Village in Dhaka, currently accepts students from all social backgrounds in grades from preparatory to twelfth, ages 4 to 18.
