We have the Pleasure to introduce our company which has been functioning in Chattogram, Bangladesh in terms of Providing Shipping Agency Services in Bangladesh “Specialized in all natures of Cargo & Demolition Vessels, Crew Change & Repatriation Services /OPA/ Vessels Inward-Outward Clearances” since 2007. Besides our shipping activities, we are also been acting as S&P Brokers for Secondhand and Demolition Vessels, worldwide chartering broker, commodity brokers/agents for more than 25 years for various items including steel scrap.

Before establishment our company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Toufiqul Islam engaged himself with this shipping and trading business since 1992. During the tenure he had the opportunity to work with world-renowned Ship Owners, Ship Management Company and Cash Buyers of vessel for demolitions and handled more than 300 vessels of different sizes for demolition delivery including so many vessels arrived with cargo at Chattogram Port, Bangladesh.

Mr. Toufiqul Islam had definite objects in mind and saw that global representation was important since then he worked hard on building worldwide network in order to be able to offer efficiency, reliability and geographically divers Shipping Agent Services to clients. To provide comprehensive and flexible service to accommodate the requirement of each individual client he established SOLAR Shipping Lines in 2007 registered under the laws of Bangladesh.
