Mymensingh College, a traditional institution, is situated on approximately 2 acres of land in the heart of Mymensingh city. Established in 1965, the college was founded with the aim of building an educated society and creating a skilled population, driven by the interest of the enlightened citizens of the district. For 57 years, the college has not only carried the torch of education in this neglected region but also achieved continuous success at both local and national levels in literature, culture, sports, and other co-curricular activities.

The college offers Higher Secondary (HSC), Higher Secondary (BMT), and undergraduate courses in BA, BSS, and BSc. Additionally, it provides honors courses in Social Work, Political Science, Accounting, and Management. In the near future, the college plans to introduce various honors and master's courses to expand education in the area and develop a world-class skilled workforce.
