Ideal School And College - Motijheel in Motijheel, Dhaka

Established in 1965 on March 15th, the heart of Motijheel Colony saw the inception of Ideal School as a primary educational institution. In 1968, it evolved into a junior school and post-independence, under the governance of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, it transitioned into a full-fledged high school in 1972. In 1973, its students participated in SSC examinations for the first time, achieving remarkable results. In the 1990-91 academic year, following government directives, a college branch was launched on the eastern side of the school building. Since its inception, the institution has maintained a proud legacy of excellence, with students consistently achieving outstanding results in SSC examinations, garnering nationwide attention. Additionally, students excel in Primary Completion and Junior School Certificate exams. The institution's success is attributed to its skilled administration, dedicated teachers, and their sincere efforts. The former Chairman, late Mr. Mohammad Foyzur Rahman, holds a special place in our memories. The institution hosts various extracurricular clubs and societies, including a Debating Club, Science Club, Cultural Society, English Society, BNCC, and Scout Group. In 2009, in tribute to the valiant language soldiers, the Governing Body erected the Shaheed Minar on the Motijheel campus.
