 History of Establishment: In 1982 the Itauri Basira established the school in the middle of the Itauti village with the help of local residents. But due to lack of adequate space, the locals left over Alhaj Shamsul Islam, Alhaj Shafiqul Haq, and Nazrul Haque, Sarvipita-Haji Yunus Mia, who settled in Itauri. The three brothers established "Haji Younus Miah Memorial High School" in their father's name, 01/01/1985 giving 181 percent of the land in English. 01/01/1986 The school is recognized as a low secondary school in English. 01/01/188 permission to open the ninth grade from the English date and the school is MPO from 01/06/2011. 01/01/1992 Accepted as a secondary school in English. On the 30/05/1992, it was named "Itawari Haji Younus Miah Memorial High School" by adding the Itauri name to English. On 01/01/1995, the University of Science received recognition.
