Founded in the year 1960, Dhaka Residential Model College prides on a magnificent campus neighbouring the Gonobhaban, the official residence of the Honourable Prime Minister located at the heart of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.
Blessed with an aesthetic ambient in terms of its physical structure and educational heritage, this unique institution accommodates nearly 5000 students hailing from diverse corners of the city as well as the country and pursuing their education at two shifts. In this era of technological excellence along with digitalisation process entailing almost every aspect of our personal and professional lives, this educational institution lays due emphasis on imparting knowledge on information technology together with general education of a high standard with a view to making our students skilful and committed citizens worthy of the continually changing high-tech world of the present time.
In keeping with this policy, Dhaka Residential Model College has launched a website www.drmc.edu.bd to enable everybody including the present as well as the ex-students and guardians of this College to be informed of all necessary information regarding the performed, planned and the on-going activities of the College.
In addition, classes ranging from three to twelve are methodically conducted by a group of efficient teachers who, with the help of smart boards and multimedia devices as well as contents, guide the avid learners thereby enabling them to assimilate and comprehend their lessons with ease and effectiveness.
As a part of this process of steady upgradation, the College Accounts, Library, admission procedures, compilation of results and preparation of students' progress reports etc. have already been digitalised. Apart from ensuring easy access to coveted information, these initiatives will bring about transparency and accountability to a greater extent in the running of the overall administration of the College, needless to say about enhancing the level of expertise of its members.
I am quite optimistic that with the introduction of these modern technological amenities, we shall be able to achieve a leading position in the field of education not only in our country but also in the international arena.

It's what you call a complete educational institution. It gives you opportunities of both studies and extra curriculum activities. The large campus will never make you feel bored. Teachers are very friendly. DRMC encourages discipline which makes a big impact in future. It's not that type of institution which goes after results for pride.

It's one of the best and renowned boys school and college in this locality! Well organized, disciplined and secured educational institution. Usually principals are appointed from cadet college, so disciplinary environment is well maintained. Do not provide unusual pressure to it's students, however don't compromise with doing good results in board exams. It have residential facility for it's students. Whatsoever, the most attractive part of this institution is it's big green fields. I've borne in Dhaka and am a parent, I can hardly recall any other school or college having such open spaces, green fields. Thanks for maintaining such airy environment. Regards to it's management.

I was happy when I get opportunity to play cricket at this college ground with our office team. The college is big with big Fields and nice playground. I think School or college must need at least one big playground. It's essential for students mental and physical growth. I thanks to the college authority for their sports facility.
