Banani Bidyaniketan School & College in Cantonment, Dhaka

Banani Bidyaniketan School & College is located in Banani, Dhaka. With just 197 students, Banani Bidyaniketan was founded in 1972 in the presence of former education minister Yousuf Ali, the members of the "Banani Nabarun Society," and member of parliament and MCA Syed Qumrul Islam Saleh Uddin (Faridpur-3). On January 31, 1972, Mr. Osman, a Pakistani citizen, abandoned his home, where Banani Bidyaniketan began its journey. This school's founder and principal were Mrs. Asesha Amin (Lily). The school eventually relocated to its current site. In 2001, Banani Bidyaniketan received the title of "The Best Institute in Dhaka City Corporation."
