All Saints UK International School in Uttara, Dhaka

All Saints is a new school set up by SI Tutul and Tania Ahmed from Bangladesh and Barkatun and Steve Poland from the UK.

We currently offer Daycare, Pre-School, Playgroup, and Nursery opportunities for children, based on well-established best practices from the UK, in a safe and stimulating environment. From September 2014 we will also be offering KG1 and KG2.

We also offer Sports, Languages, Music, Arts, and Media courses as well as a holiday club and after-school service.

Our teaching and learning philosophy is based on the belief that all children are unique and learn and develop at different rates. Our approach is child-centred with our programs built around the needs of each individual child.

All our children are allocated a link teacher which means that each member of our staff has a group of children for whom she is particularly responsible. A child’s link teacher is the person who works with parents and carers to make sure that what we provide is right for the child’s particular needs and interests. The link teacher is the main point of contact for parents and carers and monitors each child’s personal learning and development.

Our curriculum for all children covers 3 Prime Areas: Communication and Language; Physical Development; and Personal, Emotional and Social Development. We also have 4 Specific Areas of learning: Literacy; Mathematics; Understanding the World; and Expressive Arts and Design.

We are still able to admit children for the remainder of this academic year.

At All Saints, we are building a community of learners where everyone, children, parents and carers, staff and managers, can all learn and develop.
