Ajmiriganj Degree College in Azmireeganj, Habiganj

Sankar Kr. Das, the then Thana Nirbahi official of Ajmiriganj, assisted in establishing the institution on June 14, 1993. The whole population of Ajmiriganj, which is part of the Habiganj District, contributed financially and with tremendous willpower to its construction. It was located on the property of an old home that belonged to Rana Chowdhury, the son of the late Kaliprasanna Das Chowdhury, a landlord. It should be mentioned that the original owner sold the institution the entire parcel of property in return for money. In 1997, the facilities division of the Ministry of Education in Dhaka erected a three-story structure. Currently, the college educates about 600 (six hundred) students.

This college is one of the most famous college in Habiganj district as well in Sylhet division. It's a very beautyfull one also. In the sight of its' education system, it's simply very good. No political interfair is one of them. The teachers of this college is very friendly and tellented.
